Kate Middleton is in the spotlight again. After several months away from her royal responsibilities due to her cancer treatment, it seems that in 2025 she is determined to make up for lost time.
This Thursday, January 30, the Princess of Wales made not one, but two visits in South Wales.
The first stop was at a hospice, where she had the opportunity to meet children in care, as well as their families and staff.
She also met with bereaved families who had received support from the hospice during their children’s lives and beyond.
On her second stop, Kate visited a knitwear factory in South Wales.

The princess headed to the Corgi textile mill, located in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.
This company, founded in 1892 to supply socks to miners in the nearby Amman Valley, has evolved over the years to diversify into the creation of knitwear.
During her visit, Princess Kate met with the design team to learn more about their creative process, paying particular attention to how Corgi staff collaborate with leading global brands.
She also spent time on the production floor, where she had the opportunity to listen and learn about some of the technical processes they use.
As reported on RoyalFamily.news, the princess is gradually returning to her public role following the January 14 announcement that revealed she is in remission from cancer.

Kate Middleton’s visit to Wales has generated a lot of interest, and not without reason.
The princess appeared relaxed and welcoming, and stayed longer than expected during her visit to the children’s hospice, People magazine reports.
Tracy Jones, director of family welfare services, guided Kate during her tour and commented to People, “She immediately gravitated to the children and families – she spent quality time talking to every child and their parents.”
“It’s been the most inspiring visit,” Jones adds. “She’s so natural and has such an aura of engagement about her.”
Jones also noted how Kate seemed to instinctively know how to connect with the children without causing them distress. “She instinctively seemed to know where to touch a child that was going to provide the connection but not cause any distress or startle a child,” she explains.
“She was looking at the children, even if she was talking to the parent. It’s what we do, as we’re used to working with children who are nonverbal,” she adds.
Kate Middleton’s return to royal duties is certainly welcome, and her ability to connect with people in difficult times is a testament to her character and dedication.
