Princess Charlene and Gabriella in Saint Dévote Celebration

On Sunday evening, Monaco shone with the traditional celebration in honor of Saint Dévote, the patron saint of Corsica and the principality.

The royal family, led by Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene and their children, little Jacques and Gabriella, participated in this significant festivity that included the blessing of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel of Saint Dévote.

Following the custom, the burning of a fishing boat also took place, a gesture symbolizing the transport of Dévote’s body after her death.

The event, loaded with symbolism and devotion, also served as a stage for Charlene and Gabriella to dazzle with their fashion choices.

Both opted for new coats, leaving aside garments already seen on other occasions, and surprised with winter styles.

Charlene opted for a sophisticated coat by Alexander McQueen, an iconic British brand widely used by Princess Kate.

This design, made in a luxurious purple wool fabric, stood out for its double-breasted, peak lapels, structured shoulders and brushed texture.

Although it was already a unique garment, the princess customized it to make it even more her own, modifying the original asymmetrical hem to a straight cut.

This exclusive coat, valued at $2,300, was paired with a black turtleneck sweater, high heeled leather boots and matching gloves.

To complete the look, Charlène added a pair of striking hoop earrings that gave her a modern and elegant touch.

Princess Gabriella’s style

For her part, little Gabriella was not far behind and showed that she follows in her mother’s footsteps when it comes to style.

The princess wore a charming Ralph Lauren coat, designed in a classic tartan print in shades of navy blue and green.

The garment, made in Italy, is part of the brand’s winter collection and stands out for its flared silhouette, gold buttoning and velvet collar.

“It is a wool-blend coat, designed with brightly-toned checks and a velvet trim,” the brand describes in its catalog.

This model, priced at $600, was completed with flat, round-toe high boots, perfect for a girl of her age.
