Celebrity Big Brother fans were left absolutely horrified after spotting Mickey Rourke’s questionable behaviour in the kitchen — and it even left Patsy Palmer stunned.
The Hollywood actor and former boxer was the last to enter the famous house, but it didn’t take long for viewers to feel queasy.
During tonight’s episode of Late & Live, the ITV spin-off show, host AJ Odudu aired some behind-the-scenes clips showing Mickey in the kitchen — and let’s just say, fans were not impressed.
One viewer fumed on social media: “When JoJo gives Mickey that savage nomination for brushing his teeth in the kitchen – OKAAAAYYY.”
Shortly after arriving, Mickey was asked what values he hoped his fellow housemates would bring. He replied: “I can’t stand disrespectful people. Respect’s earned – I’ll earn it. If they don’t, I’ll let ‘em know. Just be respectful, that’s all. I’ll do my thing. I’m not fussed about winning – doesn’t mean much to me. I’d rather see someone win who really wants it and deserves it.”
Mickey went on to say he’s not expecting much from his stint on the show – but he’s got a soft spot for Britain.
“I had a mate on the show – Chuck Liddell – he said he got booted out pretty early. Probably the same’ll happen to me. I’ve got no expectations. I just love being over here,” he added.
Mickey Rourke’s not your average housemate. The Hollywood legend, once a heartthrob in the ’80s and now a proper wildcard, made his name in films like 9½ Weeks and The Wrestler. Back then, he was the kind of bloke who’d smoulder at the camera and make entire cinemas swoon. Then he quit acting for a bit to become a professional boxer – yeah, really – and let’s just say, the punches left more than a few marks.
Fast forward a couple decades, a few surgeries, and plenty of drama later, and Mickey’s landed in the Celebrity Big Brother house – toothbrush in the kitchen and all.
CBB, by the way, has made a big old comeback this year. After being off the telly for ages, it’s back on ITV and pulling in around 2 to 3 million viewers a night. That’s not nothing – especially when you add all the chatter online. People still love a good celeb meltdown, and this lot are already serving chaos. It’s pure British telly gold.
So yeah, Mickey might not care about winning, but with habits like his, he’s definitely keeping people talking – for better or worse.
