Mary Fowler sends a VERY romantic two-word message to her man Nathan Cleary

- Manchester City star posts revealing image for partner
- Couple’s long-distance romance is still going strong
They might be separated by almost 17,000 kilometres, but Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary’s romance is as strong as ever, judging by the revealing image she posted on social media on Friday.
The Manchester City star treated her followers to a series of pictures with the caption ‘Some sunshine from recent days’, featuring shots of her at training, giving a teammate a piggyback ride and hanging out with fashion stylist Coco Mell and Matildas player Jada Whyman.
She’s also seen face-timing with Cleary – or more accurately, his dog Prince.
But the most eye-catching image shows Fowler holding a keychain featuring three photos of her and Cleary holidaying in Australia with the words ‘Love you XX’.
It’s not the first time the 22-year-old has publicly professed her love for the Penrith star.
Last November she showed her followers two photos – one with locks of her hair in the shape of a heart, and another of a heart-shaped mark on a pavement – to help spell out the message ‘I love you’.

The keychain post comes at a time when Mary’s City team are on the up and Cleary’s Panthers are enduring some rare struggles.
City just handed Chelsea their first defeat in 31 games as they notched a 2-0 win in the first leg of their Women’s Champions League quarter final , with Fowler playing a big role in setting up one of the goals with a pinpoint cross after beating a couple of defenders.
That earned them some revenge after falling to the Blues 2-1 in the League Cup final last Sunday.
Fowler also became the first player in Women’s Super League history to rack up at least two goal involvements in four straight games when she created two assists in City’s 4-0 romp over Liverpool on February 16.
Meanwhile, Cleary’s reigning premiers have suffered two straight losses to sit 11th on the NRL ladder after three rounds.
The halfback helped steer the reigning premiers to a close win over Cronulla in their first game of the season in Las Vegas, but two nail-biting losses followed.
In round two they were heavily favoured to beat a badly undermanned Roosters side with several very inexperienced players, but demonstrated some very uncharacteristically weak defence to be outscored 38-32.
Cleary was then knocked into next week in a spectacular collision with his opposite number Jahrome Hughes in Thursday night’s loss to the Melbourne Storm.

The photos on Mary’s keychain were taken when she and Nathan were enjoying a holiday that took in several stunning spots around Australia

Fowler and her Manchester City team have been in great form of late – but the same can’t be said for Nathan and the Penrith Panthers
He was booed by fans as he was taken from the field, failed his head injury assessment test and has been ruled to have sustained a category one concussion, meaning he will miss Penrith’s next match against Souths due to the NRL’s 11-day stand-down policy.
Cleary broke up his preparation for the Vegas clash by making a romantic dash to see Fowler in California.
Despite his heavy commitments for the much-hyped season opener, he found the time to jet to San Diego to meet his partner, who was in town with the Matildas during their disastrous campaign at the SheBelieves Cup.
He also spoke out after comedian Marty Sheargold’s highly controversial comments on the Matildas, which were condemned by a range of sports stars and prime minister Anthony Albanese.
Sheargold said the national team reminded him of ‘Year 10 girls’, and said he would rather mutilate his genitalia than watch them play at the Asian Cup next year.
‘It’s pretty sad people are still saying that sort of stuff,’ Cleary said.
‘It’s just unnecessary.’
