Mary Fowler reveals the bizarre messages she keeps sending Nathan Cleary

Mary Fowler has offered a rare and quirky glimpse into her everyday life – and her unusual way of staying connected with boyfriend Nathan Cleary – through a new video shared on social media.

The Matildas star posted the light-hearted reel to Instagram, captioned ‘welcome to an episode of my life’, showcasing snippets of her off-field world.

Among the highlights was Fowler revealing a habit that fans didn’t see coming. ‘In my life: we eat donuts and send our review to boyfriend,’ the caption read, paired with footage of her trying the sweet treat.

The boyfriend in question is, of course, Penrith Panthers co-captain Nathan Cleary.

In the video, Fowler takes viewers through moments with her teammates, including Dutch defender Kerstin Casparij, who she affectionately captioned ‘pookie’.

She also showed footage of Manchester City goalkeeper Katie Startup with the line, ‘in my life: we take spontaneous 0.5’s of our friends,’ referencing the popular ultra-wide-angle selfie trend.

Fowler also showed that she supports her partner from afar, with footage from the Panthers’ Vegas match against Cronulla

Fowler gave a nod to her support of Cleary with the caption, ‘in my life: we cheer on the mans,’ showing him in action against the Cronulla Sharks during the Panthers’ game in Las Vegas.

Other clips highlighted her creativity and day-to-day quirks: ‘in my life: we like trying on outfits,’ and, ‘in my life: we like doing art and watching Disney movies.’

Fowler and Cleary first sparked romance rumours in August 2023 after being spotted sharing ice cream together. Though Cleary’s camp initially denied any relationship, speculation only grew.
