Marcus Rashford returns to England camp as Thomas Tuchel dishes out the hugs to re-called Jordan Henderson and Geordie hero new boy Dan Burn at St George’s Park

England’s stars reported for duty for the first time since Thomas Tuchel became manager on Monday.
Tuchel, who officially started work on January 1 after being appointed last October, named his first squad last Friday, with the German selecting 26 players as the Three Lions prepare to start their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
England take on Albania and Latvia at Wembley over the next seven days and the 51-year-old will hope to get his reign off to the perfect start.
And on Monday afternoon, several of the 26 stars were seen linking up for international duty at England’s base of St George’s Park, including re-called stars Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson.
Tuchel was there to greet his players as they arrived and he looked delighted as he properly gets underway in what is his first role in international football.
Rashford, who last played for the Three Lions a year ago, has has been called-up after rediscovering his form on loan at Aston Villa having been frozen out by Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.

He had his hood up as he arrived, but was smiling as he put his thumbs up for the camera.
The forward was then seeing sharing a warm hug with Henderson, with the former Liverpool captain a shock pick by Tuchel having seemingly had his international career ended by Gareth Southgate last year.
Henderson caught up with many of his team-mates, including Jude Bellingham, Delan Rice and Reece James, while he similarly shared a warm embrace with Tuchel.
There was also the sight of Dan Burn, just hours after winning the Carabao Cup with Newcastle against Liverpool, which came after the giant defender scored and put in a brilliant performance in the Magpies 2-1 win.
Burn, 32, earned his maiden call-up last week despite having never featured for the Three Lions at any level, with Tuchel rewarding the defender for his fine form at St James’ Park over the past three years.
