Manchester United women’s star Geyse has taken to social media to reveal her abject unhappiness at the club.
The Brazilian vented her frustrations amid a difficult season at the Women’s Super League title hopefuls, having struggled for minutes throughout the campaign.
Geyse now seems desperate to escape the Man United dressing room, the environment of which she says has taken a toll on her mental wellbeing.
Geyse wrote on Instagram: ‘Staying in a place where we don’t feel happy is an agonising and lonely feeling. Every day seems heavier, and the simple fact of being there becomes a burden.
‘The environment, which should be welcoming, becomes a field of discomfort, where inner peace is difficult to find. When we are not in tune with what surrounds us, the world around us loses its colour and energy.
‘Sometimes, the desire for change arises as an urgent need, but the fear of the unknown or insecurity about the future can paralyse us.

‘However, it is essential to remember that we deserve to be in places and situations that bring us happiness and fulfilment. That’s the only way we can grow.’
Geyse has endured a very difficult start to the year on a personal level as she continues to deal with the tragic loss of her brother, who died in a car accident in her homeland in January 16.
She was given a leave of absence by the club and returned to Manchester in February.
However, agent Luis Filipe Silva has claimed that United have not properly supported her during this tough time – now shockingly claiming that they tried to loan her to the USA when she was attending her brother’s funeral.
‘As you know, her brother passed away, she is going through a very difficult time, it is a very difficult time psychologically and at Man United she is not having the best time,’ he told The Telegraph.
‘The club has clearly shown that it does not count on Geyse, Man United tried to loan Geyse to a club in the USA, but the player has the right to decide about her future and the club she will play for.
‘The best solution for all parties is to leave and I repeat, Man United was the first to try to loan the player when she was at her brother’s funeral.’

The club have provided a statement in response committing to supporting her wellbeing
Man United have since responded to Geyse’s, writing in a statement to the BBC: ‘We continue to support Geyse in her well-being and are continuing to look for options which suit all parties.’
The Brazilian has continued to struggle for game time since coming back into the fold, but did make her first WSL appearance of the new year this weekend – a six-minute substitute cameo against Leicester.
The appearance in United’s 2-0 win at Leigh Sports Village was only her 11th of the season in all competitions.
Man United are currently second in the WSL, five points behind leaders Chelsea with seven league games for each team remaining.
