Manchester City are reportedly eyeing up a move for Eduardo Camavinga this summer.
Camavinga, 22, has impressed for Real ever since joining the club from Rennes in 2021, and is widely viewed as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.
The 22-year-old can also fill in at left back and has already won 24 caps for France despite his tender age.
And, according to Sky Germany, City are monitoring Camavinga and have him on their list of targets for the summer.
Pep Guardiola’s side have endured a difficult campaign and they are widely expected to undergo a major squad overhaul at the end of the season.
The restructuring – which comes after Guardiola penned a new two-year contract in November – already began in January via the additions of Omar Marmoush, Vitor Reis, Nico Gonzalez and Abdukodir Khusanov.

City legend Kevin De Bruyne is also out of contract, while the likes of Jack Grealish, Mateo Kovacic, and Matheus Nunes are among the other stars who could depart.
The report goes onto add that City’s interest in Camavinga is active and the club have close links with CAA Stellar, the agency that represents the French star who also facilitated the Marmoush move two months ago.
However, Camavinga is attracting the interest of multiple clubs alongside City, although Real remain in a strong position, given the 22-year-old’s contract doesn’t expire until 2029.
The report also adds that Camavinga has not shown any inclination that he wants to leave the Bernabeu, meaning the speculation could be irrelevant.
The midfielder originally broke onto the scene in Ligue 1 with Rennes, making his debut at the age of 16.
He impressed over the following two years before joining Real for £34.4million where he has since made 171 appearances for Los Blancos.

Camavinga, who is one of several top quality young midfielders at Real, has already won 11 trophies with the club, including two Champions League and two LaLiga titles.
He was similarly part of the France team that were runners up at the 2022 World Cup and came second in the Kopa Trophy – an award handed to the best Under 21 player in the world – that year.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are currently second in LaLiga, only behind Barcelona on goal difference, while they have a 2-1 lead after the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, City are fifth in the Premier League, two points off the top four, with their run of four successive top flight titles set to come to an end this season.
