The League One clash between Wrexham and Wycombe on Saturday was suspended following a medical emergency in the crowd.
A group of doctors were called to the scene to assist a supporter in the stands, with the incident causing a lengthy delay in the game.
Furthermore, the match’s officials took both teams back to the dressing room as the assistance continued.
Several stewards held flags and banners around the fan’s treatment in order to secure privacy.
However, 17 minutes after the suspension announcement, Wycombe confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the emergency was resolved, and the fan was on his way to the hospital.
‘The medical incident has been resolved and the supporter is on the way to hospital with our very best wishes,’ the post read.
