Barring a disaster, Liverpool will win the 2024-25 Premier League.
They entered the week 12 points ahead of Arsenal with nine matches to go and were listed as a prohibitive -6000 favorite to lift the trophy.
That said, the Reds did enter the international break in wonky form.
Liverpool lost to Paris Saint-Germain in penalties to get knocked out of the Champions League, then followed that up with a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle in the EFL Cup Final. Dreams of a quadruple and treble were dashed in the same week.
It’s hard to poke any real holes in Liverpool’s league form – they’ve lost just one match this season – but they have had issues with Everton for the past couple of seasons.
