Al Nassr have made offers for Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran, while the Saudi Pro League side have also agreed a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface.

Mail Sport reported last week that Duran had emerged as a target for the Saudi Pro League side.

Aston Villa have already turned down a £57million offer from West Ham for the Colombian striker this window.

Al Nassr have made a similar offer to the Premier League side, but Aston Villa are expected to hold out for around £80m.

Villa are one of four clubs currently working on a deal for Chelsea’s Joao Felix

Any exit for Duran could also help financially help facilitate a swoop for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha. Mail Sport sources indicate that an offer from Villa for the Wolves forward without a sale is unlikely.

Cash from Duran’s sale would also be used to strengthen the defence with Chelsea’s Axel Disasi, Villarreal’s Juan Foyth and Lens’ Kevin Danso among the options.

Duran has scored 12 goals from 29 appearances this season in all competitions for Unai Emery’s side.

Despite his impressive form, Duran has found first-team starts hard to come by throughout the campaign, with Emery often preferring Ollie Watkins as the lone striker in his side.

Al-Nassr, who are currently fourth in the Saudi Pro League, are looking to add a striker this window.

The club have opened up in their squad following the sales of midfielder Seko Fofana and Talisca in January.

Talisca completed a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce on Tuesday.

Al-Nassr are expected to choose between Duran and Boniface as they aim to provide further attacking reinforcements to support Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.

A decision is expected today on which forward Al-Nassr pursue.

Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso confirmed negotiations were ongoing over Boniface’s potential exit on Tuesday, after the forward was left out of training.

Al-Nassr have a verbal agreement to sign the Nigeria international, who was Leverkusen’s top scorer in their title winning season last year, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists in 34 games in all competitions.

Boniface has scored eight goals in 15 matches in an injury-disrupted season to date.

Mail Sport reported on Tuesday that Bayer Leverkusen could rival West Ham to sign Brighton forward Even Ferguson should Boniface leave the club.

Leverkusen and West Ham are neck and neck for Ferguson’s signing at this stage.

Tottenham, Red Bull Leipzig, Bournemouth and Everton have all enquired for Ferguson.
