After the success of season one, “The Last of Us” premieres season two finds our post-apocalyptic survivalist gripping with their new reality five years after the events of the previous season.

If you want to watch it online, “The Last of Us” season two air on HBO and streams on Max (via Prime Video) starting on Sunday, Apr. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes drop every Sunday at the same time until its season finale on May 25.

How to Watch ‘The Last of Us’ Online

While Max doesn’t offer a free trial, the streaming service starts at $9.99/month for the ad-supported plan. To go ad-free, prices jump up to $15.99/month or $19.99/month for ad-free programming in 4K Ultra HD.

Created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, “The Last of Us” is based on the popular video game series and follows a pair of survivalist, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), making their way through a post-apocalyptic hellscape after a global fungal pandemic killed off a majority of humanity.

The series also stars Kaitlyn Dever, Brendan Rozario, Gabriel Luna, Catherine O’Hara, Rutina Wesley and others.
