Morgan Gibbs-White and his girlfriend Britney De Villiers have announced they are expecting their second child in a touching social media post.

The Nottingham Forest midfielder and his influencer girlfriend shared a video of them revealing the news to their son Graysen, who was decked out in a ‘Big Brother’ jumper.

The pair could be seen showing the youngster some new baby clothes as well as scans of his future sibling.

De Villiers accompanied the post with the caption: ‘Soon to be parents of 2 under 2.’

The heartwarming news comes in the days after Gibbs-White was handed a late call-up to the England squad following doubts over the fitness of Cole Palmer.

There was some surprise that Gibbs-White, who has been brilliant this season in Forest’s unlikely push for Champions League qualification, was omitted from the original squad — and especially given Jordan Henderson of Ajax made the cut.

The 25-year-old has appeared to be unfazed by his earlier snub, beaming in photographs of the squad ahead of the Three Lions’ clashes against Albania and Latvia.

Gibbs-White has also been full of praise for Tuchel, saying that the former Chelsea manager has been ‘incredible’ with the players.

‘He phoned me up and said “Are you still upset with me, or do you want to join us, and fancy training with us tomorrow?”,’ he told BBC Radio 5 Live. ‘There was no question there. I was smiling from ear to ear. I am delighted.

‘I was upset, a little bit disappointed, but at the same time you always have to look at the quality of players England have. I took that into consideration, but when he told me, I respected his decision.’

Gibbs-White has scored five goals and provided seven assists for Forest this season, who sit third in the Premier League with only 10 games left to play.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have already defied pre-season expectations and they are now within touching distance of their first European campaign in more than 30 years.

But the midfielder’s immediate attention is on earning his third cap for the Three Lions and cementing himself in the plans of Tuchel for the 2026 World Cup.

‘[Tuchel] is really intense and that is the first thing I took from it,’ he said. ‘I believe when you know someone knows what he wants, you believe in it as well.

‘That intensity to show that he is not just here for a jolly, he is here to win, that was really nice to see.’
