Real Madrid 3-1 Man City (6-3 agg): Kylian Mbappe scores stunning HAT-TRICK to send Pep Guardiola’s side crashing out of the Champions League

Kylian Mbappe stole the headlines after scoring a hat-trick to send Man City crashing out of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid ran out 3-1 winners in the second leg of their play-off tie – ensuring a 6-3 win on aggregate – after three stunning strikes from the Frenchman.

The Frenchman opened the scoring on the night after just four minutes with a smartly taken lob over City goalkeeper Ederson.

However, the Madrid No 9 saved his best moment for the 33rd minute when he received the ball from Rodrygo inside the box and shaped to shoot at goal.

City defender Gvardiol flew in front of Mbappe in attempt to block his shot, but the Madrid forward faked before chopping inside and smashing the ball into the net.

He got his third in the second-half after cutting in from the right-hand side and firing a low effort across goal and into the bottom corner.
