Marcus Rashford has been sent another reminder from Ruben Amorim that he is not part of his future plans after he was left out of Manchester United’s 21-man squad for the Europa League trip to Bucharest.
Rashford, who was seen cracking a smile, trained with the rest of the squad on Wednesday morning, with Mail Sport in attendance.
But in spite of this Amorim has chosen to leave Rashford back in Manchester, just days after he suggested he would rather play 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital than bring Rashford back into the fold.
There are plenty of clubs interested in signing Rashford on loan this month but with a handful of days left many of them are struggling to reach an agreement.
Rashford’s latest omission comes after Man United’s head coach took a swipe at him after Sunday’s win at Fulham by declaring that he would rather pick his 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital than the England forward.
‘The reason is the training, what I think a footballer should do in training, in life and every day,’ Amorim said.

‘I will put Vital before I put a player who doesn’t give the maximum every day.’
The forward’s future has remained uncertain this month having been linked with moves away, while he has not featured in Man United’s last 11 matches.
He last played for Man United on December 12, before being axed from the squad for the Manchester derby.
As revealed in this week’s Man United Confidential column Tottenham, West Ham, Juventus, Napoli and Galatasaray are among a host of clubs ready to offer him an escape route from Old Trafford for the remainder of the season.
Monaco are believed to have taken a step back and Fenerbahce’s vice-president, the Hull City owner Acun Ilicali, said on Tuesday that the 27-year-old is not under consideration for Jose Mourinho’s side either. Arsenal have ruled themselves out of the running.
The 27-year-old trained positively with his team-mates on Wednesday morning and showed no signs of discontent amid the words of his manager just a few days ago.
Rashford training also comes on the back of club legend Paul Scholes claiming Rashford should be ‘banished’ from the club’s dressing room amid his continued exile from the first team.
Former United star Scholes, speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, brought to you by Sky Bet, took aim at Rashford and claimed Amorim must go even further in his dealings with the 27-year-old.

‘I think Marcus has let a lot of people down really,’ Scholes said. ‘With his attitude, and I think that’s what the manager is trying to say.
‘You think of the young players coming through the team, think of (Alejandro) Garnacho, they’re looking up to people like Marcus now – he’s 27 years of age, and he’s clearly not training properly.’
