Queen Letizia’s Style in Naples

The last day of the Spanish King and Queen’s state visit to Italy was marked by an event loaded with symbolism: the appointment of King Felipe VI as Doctor Honoris Causa by the prestigious Federico II University in Naples.
In this tribute to the monarch, Queen Letizia shone by opting for a sophisticated Spanish fashion ensemble, reaffirming her role as ambassador of the national textile industry.

Queen Letizia’s Style in Naples
For this occasion, Letizia opted for a design of the Spanish firm The 2nd Skin.
It is an outfit, belonging to the spring-summer 2025 collection and baptized Tabloza, composed of an elegant beige taffeta midi skirt with handmade pleating, adorned with crystal applications that added a touch of subtle shine.
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia paired the skirt with a white Japanese-sleeved papelon shirt, which stood out for its clean, modern lines.

Upon her arrival at the Teatro de San Carlos, where the ceremony was held, the Queen decided to combat the low temperatures with a white coat by Angel Schlesser.
This design, part of the autumn-winter 2023/24 collection, is characterized by its minimalist style: collarless, with structured lines and an impeccable cut that exuded sophistication.

As for accessories, Letizia chose a Mica model bag by Magrit, made of nude nappa leather with silver finishes.
On her feet, she wore matching shoes, which provided chromatic continuity to her outfit.
The look was enhanced with vintage earrings that she had already worn on previous occasions. To complete the look, she wore her iconic Coreterno ring.
